All of our furniture is finished with the most appropriate coatings for each type of piece. Many of our pieces are hand finished with a special conversion varnish. This varnish is on the cutting edge of industrial coating technologies. It is resistant to abrasions and stains of all types including but not limited to alcohol, wine, citrus juices, tomato sauce, and most common household chemicals.

Because of the high quality of this finish, very little maintenance is needed or recommended. The furniture may be cleaned as often as you like with a lightly damp cotton cloth. No waxes or polishes are needed as the luster of the finish is derived from many steps of hand polishing. However, an occasional wipe down with a spray-on type wax will not harm the finish.
